NJC Pay Ballot Consultation Outcome

The NJC Committee met on 24 June to consider the NJC Pay Consultation results.
Of those members that did respond to the consultation 76.29% voted to reject the offer put on the table by employers, however the overall turnout of voters was not as high as UNISON would have liked it to have been.
The NJC Committee agreed that it was important to get the views of branches, before making a final decision on whether to settle the claim or progress to an industrial action ballot.
The NJC Committee will meet again on Friday 4 July to consider the feedback and decide on next steps.
